A sad story - he was living in an appt, my understanding is that he got just too big and boisterous - it was a hard decision for them to make to let him go. Rather than handing him over to SPA, he was given to a dog trainer, who posted his details on a rescue forum et voila - a new member of the family. He's great, very eager to please, very soppy and he seems very happy in the countryside with lots of space to charge around in. All he has to do now is realise that the cat isn't a toy ....! Oh yes, and emptying the bin and chewing the contents overnight isn't my idea of the best start to the day.

Great news. I hope that more people will read your story and think about adopting a dog too. I live in a small apartment myself, otherwise I would love to take one on.
