hi, we are also moving to Strasbourg in October and we have found a lot of adverts on www.seloger.fr under the louer(location) section. Remember if you want a two bedroom, you must say you want a 3 piece as the lounge normally counts as a room.(Our family have already viewed two appartments from the website and they were both ok.)It is mostly agencies advertising and you have to generally pay an agency fee.
there is also the www.logic-immo.fr
both these websites are for the whole of France but just put in the Strasbourg code 67000. when looking on the site... 67000 is city centre, 67100 + 67200 are a little outside the centre but can have good tram connections and its can be quite a bit cheaper to live there.
finally, it seems most places are announced about 1 or 2 months before they are available or even vacant now so it might be a bit early to look for a place. Its also good to look after the student rush as we got caught up in it but will calm down now.
Hope that helps!
