Skiing in the Vosges, France

Practical information on skiing in the Vosges mountains (88): The resorts, access, safety and other information relevant to anyone wanting to snowboard, ski, snowshoe walk or do Nordic cross-country skiing.

The Vosges mountain range extends between the Alsatian plain in the east and the plain in the south of the Lorraine region. The highest point is the Ballon de Guebwiller (1,424m). Reputed for its cross-country skiing the Vosges still offers many slopes for downhill skiers. The biggest resort ski resort is at La Bresse.
