Holiday parties, seasonal concerts and Christmas markets... there is such a wide variety of things to do at this time of year. Whether you prefer a day out shopping or a cosy night in, you're sure to find some entertainment that's just right for you.

Start off by visiting the What's On guide, where you can find out about the many events going on in the area, including concerts, markets, festivals and exhibitions.
If you want to take a break from the end-of-year hustle and bustle and catch the latest English-language film, see the English-language Cinema guide (updated weekly on Wednesdays).
